Introduction

a simple word that somebody might say to other persons may be a good massage for them. Maybe those same word can be talk by different people, but they don´t said it in the same way. Every persons have they styles for do and say something, you form might be the way of someone need for change his/her manners of thinking, so you form can be the trick. For that reason don´t stop to say something that you want, because it can help.

The teacher told in some class about read the books, some student listened him and other don´t listened him. I was one whom listened him and started to read a history that I liked very much.  that book talk about an interesting history that won the best original novel’s award, wrote by J.m Coetzee  in 1999.That history leave a good massage and I invite you that read it too.

Disgrace

SUMMARY

Disgrace is novel that talk about a professor (David Lurie) whom is  fifty two years old, he is  divorced, but he has a daughter. Every Thursday he meet with a prostitute called Soraya  who doesn´t full their desires and for that reasons he look for satisfy his desire with  a student called  Melanie, the professor does a lot of thing for lure her. One day she Frightened to agree for having lunch with him, that day they return to his house and there he obtain to have sex with her on the living room floor taking advantage of Melanie is passive in the majority of   her act,

 Every next afternoon Lurie arrives at Melanie's apartment, he get into it himself  and carrie her to the bed. She does not resist and say  him to leave after he is finished because her cousin is coming. She misses the mid-term and arrives at his house crying that need a place to stay. Then, Melanie's boyfriend goes to the professor s´ house and talk to him about his relationship with Melanie. Melanie retires all her class. The an investigation become like criminal act. Then Melanie give testimony, the press and activist s´group are waiting outside for make interview.  Lurie is given the opportunity if he feign repentance, but he refuse to be a spectacle.

The professor get out like unwelcome person and goes to visit  his daughter ( Lucy) on her farm in Salen.  In the first day he do not do anything, but through the time he occupy his time like an animal shelter and help the farm hand Petrus (a African who work for Lucy)

One day Lucy and Lurie are taking some of the dogs for a walk and  they encounter three Africans on the road who ask for using their phone, Lucy goes to put the dogs  in the kennel and the men take Lucy into the house and locked the door behind them. Lurie can not get inside and can not help Lucy. He get into the kitchen and one African knocked him to the head and he get unconscious. The thee African take Lurie into a back room and raped her, then the men shoot the dogs in the kennel, plunder the house, set Lurie on fire, and steal his car. Lucy looks for help from one of her neighbors, they call the police and get her father to the hospital. For the night, they stay with Lucy s´friends. The next day when they return to the farm they see the damage that three African do, they report all happened to the police office, she say nothing about her rape

 After the attack  Lucy goes through a period of depression and her father does all the work around the house. Each time Lurie tries to talk to his daughter about the incident, Lurie becomes angry because the African  have not been caught and Lucy fears that they may come back, then Luries thinks it is rare that Petrus was not  found until a couple of days after the robbery. When Petrus returns, he is wearing a new suit and has bought building supplies for his house, Lurie thinks that Petrus intentionally left the house unprotected, one day Petrus invites Lucy and Lurie to a party to celebrate his new acquisition of land and Lucy comes face to face with the one of her attackers, a man named Pollux he is related with Petrus s´wife, immediately wants to call the police and have him arrested, but Lucy refuses and returns home.

Lurie becomes more and more involved at the shelter, he has a romance with Bev Shaw, the shelter owner and every day the Luries´duty is more clearly. Lurie would not think how the robber affect him until one day he put to think and cry.

 Soon after, David gets a call that his car has been found and that arrests have been made in his case, then he think that he has to leave. David goes back to Cape, there he finds that his home has been robbed. He tries to start there, but after that he think that  he wants to come back to Lucy.he goes back to the Lucy and he find that she is pregnant of the boy sense of that day . Also, she's decided to keep the baby. The next time he sees  Pollux David hit him in the f once again putting animals to sleepace.

At the end David is back in the clinic with Bev, he continue once again putting animals to sleep He picks out his favorite dog from the clinic's shelter and gives it to Bev, saying that he is "giving him up
