 Many communities are implementing protection efforts to prevent contamination of their drinking water supplies.  These communities have found that the less polluted water is before it reaches the treatment plant, the less extensive and expensive the efforts needed to safeguard the public’s health.  You can help to protect your public water supply, too.  Limit your use of fertilizers and pesticides, clean up after your pets and don’t throw trash in storm drains.

Charisma is often used to describe a difficult trait to reach even an indefinable personality that frequently includes the capability apparently supernatural or extraordinary to implement charm, persuade and inspire to well-to-do people.

A cult group is a united group by a demagogic doctrine and led by a charismatic leader who pretends to be the same divinity or a chosen by it, or else a possessor or the absolute truth.

The leaders demand their orders be executed without any critic. they demand a total adherence to the group and force under psychological pressure  to break with all teh social bonds : parents , couple, friends, work, studies, etc. They live in a close community and in total dependency on the group.

They eliminate the individual freedom. They control the information that their followers get by manipulating it. They use psychological tehniques which deprive the followers`s  will and reasoning. Everybody is an enemy out of the group.

The class was interesting, fun and wonderful, it was my best experience study English with the teacher and my classmate where together share important idea of interesting topic and learned many vocabulary and grammar.

I think that all my partners are very smart and fantastic people l feel proudly of them and the professor is very professional, is the best of our faculty.

Shyness is the awardness or apprehension that some people feel when approaching or being approached  by other people.Unlike introverts, who feel energized by the time alone, shy people often desperately want to connect with others but don´t know how or can´t tolerate the anxiety that  comes from human interaction. Human beings are social animals and the tenon of our social life is one of the most important influences on our mental health.

Introvers are drained by social enconters and energized by solitary, often creative pursuits. their disposition is frecuently misconstrue as shyness, social phobia or even avoidant personality disorder, but many introverts socialize easily, they just strongly prefer not to. In fact, the self style  introvert can be more emphatic and interpersonally connected than his or her outgoing counterparts. the line between introversion and lonely, loners gets blurry,however,as some introverts do wish they could break out of their shell.

 FEMICIDES IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Femicide, defined as the misogynous killing of women by men (Russell and Radford, 1992), has its roots in the larger feminist discourse, which emphasizes the patriarchal nature of society and the tendency to use violence as tool of repression in the maintenance of male dominance. In other words is the act of killing a woman by a domestic partner or a member of a criminal enterprise, the deliberate, wanton violation and massacre of women and girls, as in a particular ethnic group by an invading army. Compare genocide. The term femicide has been forced to take into account perceived ‘modern’ ways in which women’s lives are controlled and harmed by patriarchal structures and, as such, research concerning the term has been extended to encapsulate technological revolutions that effect women’s lives. 

Nowadays the femicide in Dominican Republic is increasing everyday, in newspapers, TV news, on internet, etc., appears in first page a woman who was murdered or abused by her partner. Everybody asks – What are the reasons that lead a man to murder his couple? Nearly 200 women who have died recently in the country at the hands of their current or formal partners. The murder of a woman is always a sad fact; there are different types of offenders, although its final actions are the same. Firearms are the most commonly used by attacks to finalize their victims, the second option the knives.

The femicide is the exit that a mad man finds when he is angry, he forgets that women are so fragile like a glass an is not needed to murder or abuse a woman when there is disagreement between them, the anger and the abuse to a woman show how men are lack of feelings, lack of education, lack of values and respect by himself and also they are not intelligent because who is able to hit his wife can hit his own mother, his daughter and his sister too. When a man has an anger attack he does not think in its consequences even his freedom and his family, and also there are occasions when he finishes killing himself after he murders his couple. The matter is that a man thinks that his wife is an object that he bought in a shopping mall and he is her owner because they have a relationship

want to go on with a relationship with his husband or boyfriend, to kill her is not the solution even she has the fault, there is no reason to kill anybody, God was our creator an he is the only one who has to decide when is our last day in this world, nobody has the right to do it.

"Women are being killed and are subjected to abuse just because of their gender," said Virgilio Almanzar, director of the Dominican Human Rights Committee in Santo Domingo. Women in this country is often subjected to violence simply because they are women and seen as the weaker sex. What's more, the increase in drug-related violence has translated into more gruesome crimes against women, including decapitations and torture. 

Paradoxically, where women are thought most to be at risk is at home, conceived of traditionally – especially in non-feminist literature – as being a woman’s rightful place. Husbands are said to pose the biggest threat, especially for those women wishing to leave the home or begin divorce proceedings. However, such violence is certainly not limited to the home, but intrinsic to every aspect of society. Media representation of women, for example, when reporting deaths involving women and in pornography and ‘snuff’ films which depict apparently real violence against women for male sexual gratification, highlight the prominence of ‘male’ perspectives on issues that concern women and objectification of women, portrayed as devoid of any subjective experience. The judicial system also plays a role in perpetuating the structures that permit femicide due to the refusal to focus on the misogynistic nature of crimes, and the tendency to shift responsibility from the male killer to the woman killed. Women-blaming strategies which

have even led to the codification of the term “provocation” in many legal systems, is part of the wider phenomenon of “victimology” which deflects blame away from the real culprits, and contributes to the failure of the state to protect women from male sexual violence.

WATER

Water is life ! It is a precondition for human, animal and plant life as well as an indispensable resource for the economy. Water also plays a fundamental role in the climate regulation cycle.
Protection of water resources, of fresh and salt water ecosystems and of the water we drink and bathe in is therefore one of the cornerstones of environmental protection in Europe. The stakes are high, the issues transcend national boundaries, and concerted action at the level of the EU is necessary to ensure  effective protection.

The European Commission has launched a European Innovation Partnership on Water with the aim to support and facilitate the development of innovative solutions to water related challenges and to create market opportunities by doing so.
The EIP on Water will bring together all relevant stakeholders to identify the priority areas for action, to identify barriers to innovation and to propose solutions to break down these barriers. The EIP on Water will take a problem oriented approach and will make use of the various existing European, national and regional initiatives.

Water Framework Directive (WFD): The Commission’s assessment of the 1st River Basin Management Plans (RBMPs) for 2009-2015 is available here!

There are still serious delays in the adoption of plans in a handful of EU Member States.  Consultations are now also starting on the second cycle River Basin Management Plans (2015-2021). A six-month consultation on the work programme for developing the 2nd RBMPs should start at the latest on 22.12.2012.  The preparation of the 1st Flood Risk Management Plans must be coordinated  appropriately with this WFD process. The distribution of the furniture, the colors used in each room, as well as the location of the building are fundamental in Feng Shui. All these things allow the environment to be in balance and to give us positive energy. Feng Shui uses colors, numbers, animal symbols and the five elements ( earth, water, fire, metal and wood ) in order to produce balance and harmony in our surroundings.

Nowadays this technique is widespread throughout the world and it is applied by specialized designers in the art of Feng Shui. The practice of Feng Shui focuses on the Ying-Yang energy.It is a disciplined widely known.

Tap water is the water that comes through pipes from the public water system.Drinking water or water for human consumption is the water that can be consumed without restrictions and it doesn't represent a risk for health due to a purification process.

The term refers to the water which fulfills with the standards of quality promulgated by the local and international authorities.

It must have the following conditions:

It should be clean, colorless, odorless and a nice flavor.
It should be aired, that's to say , it should contain air dissolved, otherwise it would be tasteless.
It shouldn't contain pathogenic germs capable of producing contagious diseases.
It should contain certain proportion of mineral salts (chlorides, sodium sulfates, calcium, potassium, etc).
It shouldn't contain nitrates or nitrites because these can come from the decomposition of organic substances.

Doctor Zimbardo distinguishes a " public shy " and  a " private shy " and affirms that the " public shy" adapts  to the social life and participates in it even though suffers it , while  the " private shy "  has a lot of difficulties  to interact.

Sometimes we don't feel satisfied with some aspects of our lives: professional, economical, relationships, etc., and although apparently we know what we want, it is not like that.

The term bold is used to describe somebody who stands out for the boldness that shows. As for bashfulness is a psychic state that affects the personal relations. It is considered as a negative behavior which limits  the social development of those who experience it.

The bold is able to face without fear difficult situations with courage and value. Then people qualify as bold persons those who in their usual behavior and way of acting are audacious and daring. Shy people are likely to be lonely and depressed. According to psychologist Dr.  Philip Zimbardo shyness is a state of annoyance caused by the expectation of possible negative consequences of the relations with the others.

So the bold is opposed to the bashful or introvert.On the other hand the one that carries out a bold behavior is able to go beyond the limits of boldness and audacity and be disrespectful with the others.

 here l have a recent research about tap  water: Pesticides in produce and drinking water may be playing a role in the increasing prevalence of food allergies, according to a new study.

Researchers looked at 2,211 people and found those in the top 25 percent for urine concentrations of chemical dichlorophenols -- used to chlorinate tap water and keep pests off produce -- were also 80 percent more likely to have a food allergy.

"Adults can develop food allergies even though they're not kids anymore," says allergist and study author Dr. Elina Jerschow. "Adult allergies to foods are on the rise. That certainly includes shellfish and fish allergies, but also peanuts. We don't know what influences this development. But having been exposed to dichlorophenols in our study suggests there could be some link."

Researchers believe dichlorophenols may alter the composition of healthy bacteria growing in the human gut, which plays an active role in immune system functioning.

It's the "hygiene hypothesis" -- that allergies result from too few exposures to microbes in our contemporary, sterile environments -- with a twist: the anti-bacterial environment might also be found inside the intestines.

The study, published Monday in the journal Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, doesn't confirm that pesticides necessarily cause allergies or vice versa, but it does indicate a possible association.

"Pesticides, and insecticides in particular, are inherently toxic to human health," says Dr. Kenneth Spaeth, director of the Occupational and Environmental Medicine Center at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, N.Y.

"This has been known for a long time in regards to large exposures. However, it is only in recent years that the harmful effects of low-level exposure from pesticides have begun to be revealed."

Well, I want to speak about the conference that was so nice .For me it was like a dream.that happened  on november 16th and 17th the hotel Embajador.

 Maybe you will ask why do I  say it .I want to tell you that I don not have the words enough for explaining , but I will try it  .

As I told you  at the begining for me it was a dream ,because this  was the first conference  that I   went  to  an event like this and I could learn .Such as,  the  teachers have to  make fun their classes,

This  conference was given by English teacher .They taught some steps about  how  teacher can have a funny class , motivated, interesting ,also how to cultivate the curiosity, creativity and  joy class.

Feng Shui is more than arranging things in order to create balance. It goes beyond the physical meanings that almost everybody knows and enters into the spiritual environment, so that if things around you are out of balance you may feel uncomfortable, and feel your life out off balance, too.

For some people Feng Shui is a must have. For example, in class we were talking about Donald Trump, and we said that he doesn't make a move without Feng Shui. For someones it is religion, for others it is art. Religion or art, I agree it affects people lives somehow.
