The Bold and The Bashful

                             Consequences of Shyness

Shyness is a mental problem which influences in the individual’s behavior. People are shy for various reasons, for instance, there are people that are shy due to the way they grew up, others are shy because of their life system and others are shy as a result of fear towards people. However, being shy is not positive! This problem seems to be inoffensive, but is not, since many people have not realized their dreams due to shyness.

One of the consequences of being shy is the lack of confidence. Many shy people are unhappy because they do not trust themselves, they feel inferior and even that is not actually true, but it becomes true inside of them. That affects their personality and potential. There are people who have the capacity to run a company or to be very successful, but they are not due to their shyness.

Many shy people have lost the love of their lives due to shyness. There are beautiful women who have confessed that they always loved a man who never dared to say anything to them. Men that never had the guts to say what they felt and for that reason they lost the woman of their dreams. It is sad and disconcerting to know that, but that is one of the cruel consequences of being a shy person.

As a conclusion, shyness is bar that keeps you apart, a mental chain that traps you in yourself. It does not matter how amazing a person can be if you do not give the chance to others to know you, they cannot guess who you are. It is important to understand that everybody has flaws so, there is nothing to be afraid of, and also, it is important to be aware of that even Jesus could gain everyone’s affection and he was and is the best person of all, so this is to say that we cannot be loved or accepted by everybody then we have to get used to it, “It is natural” –Atilano. The most important thing is to understand that we are special just as we are. We do not have to be afraid of showing who we are.
