Americans usually don't like their tap water because of many reasons but what about Dominican tap water? Most of us just who study English don't investigate about our own problems or post any comment from our own country problems. We just stand aside those problems and don't do anything to find a solution. For example, we knew that Americans don't like their tap water, but Dominicans feel like they are in heaven when they get water from the faucet. In some suburbs they have to travel many miles to get a bucket of water.
We can't drink our tap water because you can get sick and there is not a water treatment plant. They just use a lot of chloride to decrease the bacterial contamination instead of processing the water. As a result, a lot of people suffers from skin deceases and other illness.
People should join themselves and protest against the political management of our water system. There is always a solution of this problem, the thing is they don't want to do a thing to solve it.
