Heaven's gate was a UFO cult  that committed a mass suicide in San Diego, March 1997. They did it in order to evacuate the Earth. His founder  Marshall Applewhite  convienced his followers because a UFO would take their souls to another "level of existence above human", they believed their souls could go on a journey aboard a spaceship .

 As I have read, they rented a mansion where they ingestested henobarbital mixed with applesauce or pudding, washed down with vodka. They were all dressed with black clothes and Nike tennis.One of the members Rio DiAngelo, did not kill himself, he recorded the video that we are going to see now in an interview that a CNN reporter made. Here we can see the dead bodies of them and the member that still alive.
