Grammar: A friendly reminder



Grammar: The rules by which the words of a language change their forms and are combined into sentences, or the study or use of these rules.

Difference between nouns, adjectives, and verbs.


  1. Noun: A word or group of words that represent a person, place, thing, quality, action, or idea. Nouns can be used as the subject or object of a verb. Example, The teacher writes on the board.
  2. Adjective: A word that describes a noun or pronoun , such as "black" in the sentence "She wore a black hat," or "happy" in the sentence "I'll try to make you happy."
  3. Verb:A word or group of words that is used to describe an action, experience, or state.
