THE OLDEST OLD "CENTENARIANS"

-When we hear about "centenarians" we always have different perceptions virtually: How did they become aging? -How do they got that longevity in those years ?

*Life expectancy in the United States has increased from 49 years, at the start of this century to 76 years.

- Researchers want to find out why "Oldest Old" are living more now, and they want to discover their secret to living longer.

            
              *To add a few years to your life adopt these*

           ~Stay active --> Physically & Mentally.
I agreed with that, because an active body & an active mind, help to prevent demented in old age.

           ~Do not react to stress with excessive worry.
(People who learn to laugh at themselves stay healthy longer.)

*Something that really surprised me about "Oldest Old" is that they don't have a balance diet, some of them have a highest calor intact.
 I don't understand how they can survive on diet that is high in fat, and drinking alcohol; but others are finicky with everything they put in their mouth*.

-How long we live is GENETICALLY determined. (Brothers of centenarians are likely to live to 100 as are people without 100 years-old in the family.)

That's not my case, and of course I won't want to live 100 or over, because most of centenarians have had many losses, and I don't want to see family members and close peers dying.

*im not a centenarian but I think you have to : Eat well, Move often, Keep up with your hobbies, Read and LOVE LIFE.
