Drinking Water

Water is the most wide spread source distributed on nature. The water used for human consume is called potable, which contains dissolve air and not prejudicial salts. However, the water with an excessive quantity of salts such as high chlorine, sodium sulfate, calcium and carbon, is known as heavy water.

Heavy water can be permanent and temporal. Temporal water contains carbon and bicarbonates. It can be eliminated by boiling. Permanent water is produced by sulfates and chlorine,it is eliminated through chemical methods.

Water can contain a lot of pollutants depending on its origins, example, water taken from rivers contain bacteria and chemical substances that should be purified before human use.

Dominican water suppliers are not as good as they should be. We are supposed to have a better water system but don’t have it. We have natural springs where water comes from but we don’t get water from them. We have to buy bottle water or water purifiers to be able to obtain a good drinking water.
