Feng shui is the art of arranging things in a way that the ch'ii can flow through things without be blocked. When sh'ii flows through things people feel happier, relaxed, and a sense of wellness. I tried to find out if here, in the dominican republic, feng shui is use, and i found that it is very known for centain kind of people, and places. When designing the spa, Garcia, the architect, studied the ancient practice of Feng Shui. The name "Bagua" comes from a concept of Feng Shui. The Bagua is traditionally represented in the shape of an octagon. Each facet of the octagon is called a "gua" and is assigned at least one of life's aspects, such as Prosperity, Family, Career Path and Life Path.
The Bagua Spa at Casa Colonial was designed according to the guidelines of the Bagua to create a serene sanctuary where guests can find harmony and clarity.
So, this is only one example, but in our country there are many place which are arranged taking into consideration the feng shui art.
