ELDERLY PEOPLE IN MODERN SOCIETY

Elderly people are the backbone of modern society . They have shown us and continue to show us what can be done and exactly how to do it. There is not enought respect for all the people that have gone before us. Elderly people have been "there" and done just about everything we can think about., they have the best life stories.

Elderly people are no different than the rest of us. They are older, a little less flexible and sometimes may have to think about things for a longer period of time.

In Asian Society, the elderly people are respected and looked up to. Unfortunately, in domincan society is not always true. Elderly people in our society are sometimes viewed as a nuisance and not valued for the wonderful people that they are.

Older people are sometimes told that they are useless, or just simply ignored.

we need to create conscience and make the difference when and elderly people talk to us or give us an advise.

  1. I agreed with you about old people. I think that they are very important part of our society, because they are very experienced people and yeah, they are the backbone of our society. I think that Dominican youth should respected them.
