Indirect speech and direct speech (unit 8)

Direct speech:

We use the direct speech when we repeat the same idea that other person say. That phrase is colocated with quotation marks. Exs:

- "I love listening to music" My brother said.
- My sister said "i'm going to party".

Inderect speech:

In this speech we said the third  phrase that a person had said through:
* The verb "say" in pass (said) + (that) + clause.
* The verb "tell" in pass (told) + object pronoun + (that) +clause.
Also verbs tenses are modified.
Exs:
- she said that we played the piano.
- she told him that we had been playing the piano.
