THE TAP WATER

 

 

The water in Villa Mella  is a topic interesting because in this town we have had a lot of problems for a long time with it. Those problems vary from a place to other. For example in my neighborhood, we only have water one day a week and sometimes we pass two or three weeks without water Because the water's director didn'd open regularly . Fortunately some of us have cistern but other people don't have cistern  have to buy water very expensive. The Cabra was a man who opened the main tap regularly  then we had water of course we had to pay for it to him because it action was without authorization of the water's direction. Now we have problem because the police officer took prisoner the man and closed the mains tap and we dont have water since two week ago and we are waiting that tap direction oponed the tap and we can have water soon . Finally i want to say that the water a least in villa mella is the worse because, it has much salt and it is very contaminated. If we drink a little  i think that we will died.

BOLD AND BASHFUL

Some people love to be shy or be apart of the rest.... but some other people love to be the cenetr of attention everywhere and theres nothing you can do to stop their mind.

but those cases have problems and if u cant stop them could be not so good for you, first when someone is shy or decide not to share experiences or dreams fot just to say a few of things, seems that person like this are too close and negatie.Thinking that noone can stand them and thats why they feel safe in their confort zone, but theres a huge problem because you dont know what some are losing for being shy you have no friends, no people to share anything, no social life, no nothing at all you need to hae someone to braking the ice because when you are alone you always start to think in bad things and u mind gone wild and think taht noone loves you and stuff.

By the other hands being gregorious has bad and goods think, some extrovert people think that they are the best in everything they do, they are perect they can do everything right, but sometimes those people are so empty inside that being that way can make tem feel better when its not.

People should be afraid to turn into older than them just realized, and is that true because i have heard a lot of them to say it! but you know what i know someone who lives in front of my house who is 100 and she can do not everything like before but she still can walk, she cook, and she is not like otherts oldest old....... i sked her how was her life as a teenager and she told me that as that way before it was really hard, because she was living in the country side and life there was strong for someone who had to cook, go to the conuco; to have erything ready to the husban and even worst being pregnan at the same time was hard.

But what im trying to say is that turn into some age is not bad at all, you just have to be carefull in what you eat, do exercices, eat healhty and be hapy, enjoy life because thats the only thing you cant take when you are gone.

THE TAP WATER OR THE BOTTLED WATER WHAT IS THE HEALTHIER IN THE DOMINICAN PERPUBLIC?

       WE KNOW THAT TO DRINK TAP WATER IN DEVE LOPMENT COUNTRIES ,IT DOES NOT CAUSE PROBLEM TO PEOPLE´S HEALTH, BECAUSE THE  WATER IS PURIFIED, IT DOES NOT FIND BASTERIAL POLLUTANTS IN IT. THERE IS A  SUPERVISION OF THE AUTHORITY. WHEN THEY WATER, THEY ARE NOT WORRIED ABOUT IT.
     BUT IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC ABOUT THE WATER WE DRINK, IT IS DIFFERENT THE MATTER, WE CAN NOT RISK TO DRINK TAP WATER, WE ARE AWARE OF THE DANGERS THAT IT CAN CAUSE TO OUR HEALTH. THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE DRINKING TAP WATER, WE KNOW IT, IT IS TRUE, THERE IS NOT AN AUTHORITY TO CONTROL THAT, WHO IS THE RESPONSIBLE OF SUPERVISING THE QUALITY OF WATER THAT THE POPULATION DRINK.
     IN THIS COUNTRY THERE IS NOT WHO  PROTECT US. THERE IS PILE OF DISEASES BECAUSE OF DRINKING TAP WATER.THERE ARE PEOPLE DRINK IT FOR NECESSITY, THEY CAN NOT AFFORT IT, IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE TO BUY BOTTLED WATER EVERY TWO DAY, OTHERS ARE CARELESS, THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE WHAT WATER THEY SHOULD DRINK.
     PERSONALLY SPEAKING, TO DRINK BOTTLED WATER IS NOT SAFE, HOW THERE IS NO CONTROL, THE WATER´S DISTRIBUTORS DO WHAT THEY WANT, TAKING WATER FROM A RIVER, IT IS TERRIBLE TO LISTEN THAT. I WANT TO SAY THAT ONE LISTEN THINGS AND THEY RESULT TO BE LIE, BUT THERE ARE THINGS THAT ARE TRUE,TO TAKE WATER FROM  A RIVER FOR  SELLING AS PURIFIED WATER, IT IS TRUE, TRUE.
      BUT THERE IS  BRAND OF WATER GOOD  BETWEEN QUOTATION MARK(´´ ´´),  IN THIS COUNTRY, I DO NOT KNOW WHT IS REALLY GOOD.

Unit 4 - Toast To The Tap: The Water We Drink.

 The security in the water system in the Dominican Republic has declined greatly, most systems do not have a good filter, so the toxic wastes can reach our water system. Several factors affect the quality of drinking water in the Dominican Republic, including: poor condition of purification systems, minimal operational controls, low levels of maintenance of treatment plants and mainly the intermittent systems.
Water scarcity is increasing, mainly because of excessive consumption in urban areas, the lack of demand management and degradation of watersheds. This last factor occurs mainly in the lower most coastal watershed sections, and is the result of informal settlements, and activities lack of sanitation.
Some people think that our water is not good, even for take a bath, It could be true, but We have to analyze the situation, a research confirmed That the 38.4% of water systems have no chlorination system installed.

A personal recommendation that I want to give is, that each and everyone of us, try to get a good filter of water and a bottle of chlorine and use it in our daily use of water, and of course be careful ,too much chlorine could be dangerous.
