Old People





When people talk about age, think that somebody who has more than 40 years is old, I don't agree with that because for me the old age doesn't depend of years,  it depends of  feelings. I say that because sometimes you can find people maybe with 20 or 25 years old and they behave or look like 40 or more than that. Otherwise some are 40 or more and maybe don't behave like 20 or 25, but look and feel like this age.

In the other hand when you have the opportunity to share with old people you learn a lot from then about different things of the life; when you speak with then you are speaking with the experience's voice. So if you need an advice ask them. Please be polite and carefully with the old people.

The oldest old.

    I think that becoming a centenarian is not easy, but what we have to do is to live our lifes in a normal way and following some advices for building strong defenses and avoid illnesses besides that I got some important information to share with you:

  Preserve your cognitive abilities
Centenarians preserve their cognitive function by engaging in mental activities that are interesting to them. Crossword puzzles (verbal functions), bridge (memory functions), and intricate jigsaw puzzles (visual-spatial functions) can help keep the mind sharp.
   Late-life learning
Learning never has to stop for anyone. Formal late-life learning can help preserve thinking abilities, and many older people are already doing this: Harvard recently granted a bachelor's degree to an 89-year-old woman. Adult education opportunities are numerous, and at least a third of American universities offer college and graduate level courses specifically for people over 65.
Exercise
Active lifestyles contributed not only to our centenarians' overall health but to their alerts and agile minds. People can exercise almost all their lives. Tai Chi, an ancient Chinese program of meditative movements, can be performed by people of almost any age or physical ability level. It has moderate steady aerobic effects, uses all the muscle groups, and builds flexibility. With its slow, repetitive motions, this form of exercise also has the effect of decreasing emotional stress and anxiety.
Stress reduction
Centenarians are natural stress-shedders. This contributes to their longevity in part by improving their cognitive health, since anxiety and depression have significant negative effects on brain function.
  If you know about a special case of a centenarian, you can help this person to live and have a beautiful life.

THE OLDEST OLD.




Our old,
the ones  that we love, we must give them more love like our children, they need us, they are full of experience, wisdom, accomplishments, history, values ​​and love.
 we should treat them with love and respect and help them overcome their weaknesses, so they do not feel alone or abandoned.

but there are many details that fade by insensitivity and neglect, regardless alterations suffered by the years.
 we should not abandon them, in a nursing home because they do not like to be alone and in those places they always feel alone.
in my case I dont' have grandfathers because They died when I was a child , but  if it weren't like this I would have liked to share their lives with me, and give them all the love that they gave me.

 why people become addicted to the internet?.

 well, internet it is  a network of computer networks that share data and resources, but it is much more than a place of fun. for some people it becomes the medium in which people share their lives.

From the point of view of communication,
 it creates virtual communities and groups with a common goal or interest that is only possible in this environment and it  eliminates the geographical distance.

but why people get addicted to it.
  well  the human being always seeks the easiest and complete, Internet is all that you need,  it is sedentary lifestyle and  it gives  the access to everything, you can even pay all the bills without leave your house.

INTERNETT ADDICTION

MY NAME IS ROXANNA I THINK THAT INTERNET ADDICTION IS A MODERN ILLNESS .MANY PEOPLE SPEND SEVERAL HOURS A DAY MAYBE MOUTHS SURFING IN THE NET.THAT PROBLEM INVOLVES TEENS,ADDULTS AND OLD PERSONS.

I ASKED SOME FRIEND WHAT ARE THEIRS OPINIONS ABOUT INTERNET ADDICTION.ONE OF THEM SAID ;IN MY CASE WHEN I AM ON THE NET I FEEL IN TOTAL FREEDOM,THE INTERNET IS UNREAL WORLD WHERE YOU CAN LIE AND HAVE OTHER PERSONALITY.
ON THE OTHER HAND, WHEN I FEEL VERY LONELY I DONT WANT TO STOP CHATTING.

 IT IS IMPORTANT TO HAVE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT OF CAUSES OF THAT ISSUE AND BE HOOKED ON.

THE INTERNET AND OTHER ADDICTIONS!

     Unit 1.

         We usually associate addictions to toxic substances like legal or illegal drugs which are capable of generating dependency.However we have heard about social addictions so far: The Internet Addictions is one of them.

       The Internet has a great potential to affect human beings´ emotions and alter our anxiety levels. Its compulsive use can interfere people´s every day life,the work, and the human relations.

       Many people use it with the intention of managing unpleasant feelings such as stress, loneliness,depression, and anxiety.When we have a bad day and try to escape from our problems in order to relieve ourself the stress quickly, Internet can be something of easy access.

       Internet addicts suffer from other addictions like drugs, nicotine, alcohol, gambling, sex, etc.People can use the Internet to forget worries and fears. The Internet addictions contributes to stress, isolation, and loneliness too. It is important to keep in mind that there are more effective ways to get along with the problems.

       We have to be aware of excessive use of Internet. We should practice our common activities like going to a park,going to the movies, watching tv, spending time with relatives,and so on.

       If using the Internet dominates your life , feelings , and behavior, then you are an internet addict.

  I believe that some people abuse the old ones since they think they are good for nothing, I have seen how people as the least prided themselves and Don't think for a moment that someday they will be old.too.
  I think that is a great importance to maintain the respect for elders,since at some time they were young and dedicated their lives to raise their children and grand children.
 people should think of them as human beings,and that they have feelings and all they need is to be treated with patience and love.

 I realized that, because when I see those people at the churches,jobs,meeting,and public transportation surfing or chatting on the net, without taking into consideration that it is unrespectful.
  In another hand internet is a very important tool nowadays if people knows how to use it wisely.

the oldest people live a good life they eat some good meal low in calorie enjoy an excellent health and energy.the oldest are alone in the life because there are losses of family but their mental abilities are stronger.

they want to know if eat something health can help you in their mental abilities they want to show if they can live alone without sons and other family that give your medicine.

always they have some activities for keep your mien good and do exercises, walk,run and go  to play tenni
