This article is so important to us, because in one moment of our life one of us have been shy or knew somebody with this syndrome.
when Lily Shum was little, she dreaded speaking up in class. It wasn't because she didn't have anything interesting to say, or because she wasn't paying attention or didn't know the answer. She was just quiet.
In this paragraph the author trys to analize the shyness of Lyli Shum or says how was it in her childhood._ But now she is a successful teacher, and she dosen't want her students to feel the pressure to speak up the she felt.
That why she joined 60 educators in a summit heard in New York to analize this condition, where the teachers could know their students. Another point of view that the teachers were connected in many things for example: the teachers had to understand their pass in some aspects in the life of the students such as gender, race and sexualidad and a teacher told that focusing on introverts also means reining in the extroverts.
