TOAST TO THE TAP: The Water We Drink.
In the world every community has the job of supplying safe water to drink. Many towns and cities get water from nearby lakes, rivers, and streams. Other communities get water from underground wells.
Sometimes the water is polluted because wastes and chemicall are enter lakes,rivers, and streams,so the water is not safe to drink or use. It often has germs into that migh cause disease.
Polluted water often has chemicals that can harm our bodies.
Most communities have a water-treatment plan to make water safe to drink . The water is filtered at with this plant to remove dirt. Water is sometimes sprayed into the air. Spraying the water helps remove unpleasant taste and smells. The water is also treated to kill harmful germs an remove unsaf chemical.
Treated water is then pumped through pipes to homes and buildings in the community.
the water is the essential element that all survive need to exist. Without water is imposible to live. we can live for weeks without water, but only days without water.so for this reason we should keep the water in good state avoiding that the enviroment,like wastes and some chemicals polluted the rivers, lakes and streams where the water is take. Actually...We have to keep clean and free of impure the water treatment plant and suminist the chemicals necessary that made the water ready to drink like clorine, carbon.so we could detect when the water has bad smell and taste because this water could bring germs that cause harm in your body,that sometime can product te dead.
